The MCCTC Foundation, Inc. is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes. The foundation is an organization which operates for the benefit of the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, an educational institution that maintains control over the Foundation.

More specifically, the purpose of the Foundation shall be:
- To foster, encourage and promote the educational and charitable purposes of the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center;
- To promote philanthropy in support of the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center;
- To provide fiduciary oversight and management of the Foundation’s assets for the benefit of the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center
- To perform such other acts lawful for a non-profit corporation in the State of Ohio in accordance with Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3) that are necessary and proper to facilitate the charitable purposes enumerated above.
The Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center which qualifies as an exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
