Hospitals, diagnostic laboratories and blood donor centers all have a growing need for phlebotomists. Employment of phlebotomists is expected to increase 25% ove rthe next 7 years.* This course will focus on performing various functions such as obtaining patient specimens, venipuncture, micro-collection, and specimen processing and handling, while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.

This course is conducted within our Medical Assistant program and you will be participating in hands-on training alongside medical assistant students.
