National Suicide Prevention Lifeline- Veterans Crisis Line

Connects Veterans in crisis and their families and friends with Department of Veterans Affairs responders. Veterans and their loved ones can call, chat online, or send a text message to receive confidential support. Support for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals is available.

The Objective Zero App connects Veterans, Service members, their families, and caregivers to peer support via voice, video, and text message. Users also get free access to wellness resources, such as yoga and meditation sessions, and a catalog of mental health resources.

Mahoning County Veteran Service Commission 

Offers expert assistance to veterans, their families and surviving spouses in Mahoning County. Services offered include Temporary Financial Assistance, Utility Assistance, Burial Program, Van Transportation to medical appointments, Assistance with VA Service Connected Disability Claims, Nursing Home Outreach, Assistance in Obtaining Decorations, Awards, and Personnel Records, Assistance with State Benefits: Ohio War Orphans Scholarship, Military Injury Relief Fund (MIRF).
