Position: Cafeteria Sub Needed!

Permanent sub needed 4 days a week, hours will vary.

Position: Instructor: Allied Health & Pre-Nursing

Grade Level: 11-12

Subject: Career Technical

Qualifications:

  • 1. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing or allied health-related fields, or 5 years (2 years recent) full-time work experience in the field of medicine or related field.
  • 2. Certifications/training: Medical Technologist or Paramedic or Registered Nurse (must have an active license)
  • 3. Previous teaching experience preferred. Must be able to develop classes and programs and instruct variety of courses in pre-nursing and allied health.
    • Must be able to teach the following: Basic infection control and healthcare safety, Medical terminology, Phlebotomy, and Clinical lab
    • Must be able to use, be familiar with, and instruct on the following equipment: Autoclave, Incubator, Centrifuge & Serofuge, Crit-Spin, Hemocue, and Glucometers
    • Must be familiar with and able to instruct on a variety of point of care testing and microbiology
  • 4. Must be willing to obtain Career Technical licensure and attend Kent State University to complete licensure requirements. Must be willing to attend required summer or other professional development.
  • 5. Must be able to pass BCI/FBI background checks and drug screen.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • STNA (per ODH, candidate must have 3200 hours of RN experience including 1600 hours in Long Term Care service and would have to complete TTT (train the trainer)
  • EMT (Must have STATE EMS instructor certification)

Position: Cafeteria Cook

  • Part-Time – 181 days, 633.5 hours
  • 5 days per week, 3.5 hours per day

Qualifications:

  • 1. High school diploma (minimum)
  • 2. Ability to function as a team member and assist in the cafeteria operation with dependability and thoroughness
  • 3. Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members and take instruction well
  • 4. Follow a routine of preparing and cooking specific foods or food dishes
  • 5. Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by the Head Cook and/or Cafeteria Administrator
  • 6. Must be able to pass BCI/FBI background checks and drug screen
