Allied Health

Students will learn the skills necessary for successful healthcare careers. Students will be prepared to enter the various fields of therapeutic and diagnostic services like nurse assisting, lab assisting, medical assisting, dental assisting, nutrition, and more. Students in this program can become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), as well as become certified in phlebotomy (PTC), medical assisting (MAC), and EKG technician (CET). Allied Health provides opportunities for job experience and authentic employment in health care. Students in this lab must be passionate, caring, honest, motivated, and dedicated to patient care. Students will also need to be able to pass background and drug testing and have good attendance.
