Speak with Confidence: Mastering the Fundamentals Workshop

This interactive workshop is designed for beginners or those looking to refresh their public speaking skills through confidence-building activities. Participants will enjoy the immersive nature of this workshop without feeling intimidated about public speaking. Furthermore, the skills gained in this workshop will be valuable in a variety of settings such as when interviewing for your dream job or presenting in front of C-suite executives.

About the instructor: Tadarrelle Lett is a higher education professional with expertise in public speaking, mentorship, and student engagement. Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, he currently works at Kent State University, where he supports recruitment, retention, and college access initiatives. He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Toledo, a master’s in communication from Liberty University, and is completing his doctorate in curriculum & instruction at Kent State. Tadarrelle has presented to audiences of all sizes and enjoys helping others build confidence through authentic communication. In this interactive workshop, he looks forward to sharing practical public speaking strategies to help participants excel in interviews, presentations, and beyond.

Students wishing to withdraw may do so by phone or in person. If requested at least five (5) business days prior to the first class date a refund (less a $15.00 withdrawal fee) will be issued. Otherwise no refund will be issued.
