AEMT Refresher (Hybrid)

UPCOMING DATES TBD Mahoning County Career and Technical Center will be offering a HYBRID EMT, AEMT & Paramedic refresher. This course will provide EMT’s, AEMT’s and Paramedics with all necessary requirements to recertify their EMS certifications with the Ohio Department of Public Safety*. This course will satisfy all recertification hour requirements as set forth in chapters 4765-15-05(D), 4765-16-06(E) and 4765-17-04(E) of the Ohio Administrative Code. The course will consist of online lectures on specified days covering certain topics as well as select days for in person skill training. Paramedics will be required to attend all days and topics. EMTs and AEMT’s will only be required to attend certain days. BLS-CPR recertification will be provided for all participants. ACLS and PALS recertification will be provided for Paramedics. Up to 8 hours of class time may be missed, and made up, for credit. THIS CLASS INCLUDES: BLS-CPR, ACLS, and PALS RECERTIFICATION AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! EMS providers may request to take only certain days/topics at an hour-for-hour cost. Attendance will be taken each class. Students must attend at least 90% of each class to receive credit for the class. Exit tickets, class evaluations, and daily quizzes will be utilized for each class. *Excluding the required 1-hour Geriatric/Dementia online training required by Ohio DPS.
