2023 Health and Safety Fair was a Success
2023 Health and Safety Fair Recap
by Dom Fonce
There was so much to see and do at this free event with something for all ages! Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers, vendors, and attendees. It was tons of fun and we loved seeing the community come out to MCCTC Adult Career Center on such a beautiful June day! The 2nd annual Health and Safety Fair was attended by hundreds of people.
Thank you to our student volunteers for helping park guests’ cars. Adults and children enjoyed the fair. Guests saw a lineup of great professional vehicles as soon as they pulled in. They also enjoyed walking around vendor tables, taking advantage of free health screenings, collecting swag and informational materials, petting therapy bunnies, and getting their faces painted.
Highlights include:
• ”Explore a Vehicle” area Fire Trucks, Hum V, police cruisers, ambulance, electric cars, and others!
• Kikel Mobile Dental Clinic helped guests find a dentist if they did not have one
• Snow White greeted children and took photos with families
• F5RS Therapy Bunnies
• FREE Kids Identi-Kits courtesy of Canfield Police Department
• Molnar’s food truck
• Veteran’s Benefits assistance
• Kids scavenger hunt
• Over 70 Health, Safety, and Wellness focused vendors!
Congratulations Nancy Dubiel, the winner of our Summer themed raffle basalt. The basket had lots of summer goodies, a $50 gift card to Bruno Bros pizza and four tickets to the Ribs N Rock festival!
Thanks to all attendees for coming and participating in the door raffle. The Health and Safety Fair was such a great opportunity for the Mahoning Valley community to come together and see what their options are.
