Welding

Program Description

This new program at MCCTC provides students the opportunity to gain the technical skills for a career in the welding industry.

Students will learn how to permanently join metals together through the study and application of various welding techniques. Students will also have the opportunity to work daily in the lab on state-of-the-art equipment and gain hands-on experience.

Students in this program will learn:

  • Fabrication Techniques
  • SAW
  • MIG
  • TIG
  • & FCAW welding
  • Shop safety
  • OSHA and EPA regulations
  • How to create parts from computer design phase through fabrication
