DESCRIPTION: Inspect, cut, notch and fabricate aluminum extrusion and first-stage assembly. Reports To: The Production Manager or Assistant Production Manager FLSA Status: Hourly, overtime pay nonexempt ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ø Maintain a clean, safe work area in accordance with policy and protocol. Ø Maintain all equipment within the work area and report any safety or operational issues to management, as outlined in maintenance and safety guidelines. Ø Inspect material for quality compliance, upon receipt from vendor. Maintain and organize raw material inventory Report exceptions to management. Ø Coordinate and plan daily operations in concert with scheduled production and all departments. Ø Operate various saws, tools, machines, etc. within the department in accordance with safety and operational protocol, including chop saw, mitre saw, band saw and others. Ø Physically lift, bend, stoop, turn and carry the product and raw materials weighing up to 100lbs. Perform all aspects of process from a continuous, standing position. Ø Read and understand all related drawings and specifications necessary for all aspects and departments involved in the production process. Ø Apply screen prints and stencils to product panels Page 2 of 2 Ø Use pnematic staple gun to affix fabricated aluminum extrusion to plywood panels and assemble basic product Ø Work in other areas of production, as directed by management. Ø Assist in all aspects of process improvement initiatives such as new technology, improved training techniques and work environment improvements. BASIC SKILL SET REQUIREMENT • Good math skills • Skill with all hand tools and small hand held power tools • Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16” - .0625” • Basic carpentry, woodworking skills, and assembly skills • Skill with various saws including, chop saw, band saw and table saw • Ability to read prints/drawings independently and build products from prints and specification sheets SUPERVISORY ASPECTS OF POSITION Ø None

Reports To: The Production Manager or Crew Leader FLSA Status: Hourly, overtime pay nonexempt ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ø Maintain a clean, safe work area in accordance with policy and protocol. Ø Maintain all equipment within the work area and report any safety or operational issues to management, as outlined in maintenance and safety guidelines. Ø Inspect material for quality compliance, upon receipt from vendor or other internal department. Maintain and organize raw material inventory Report exceptions to management. Ø Coordinate and plan daily operations in concert with scheduled production and all departments. Ø Operate various machines and equipment in the department including spray adhesive and paint equipment, hot melt adhesive delivery equipment, foam and textile cutting equipment and band saws. Ø Manual dexterity and visual acuity to align and place material in cases evenly and neatly. Ø Physically lift, bend, stoop, turn and carry the product and raw materials weighing up to 100lbs. Perform all aspects of process from a continuous, standing position. Ø Read and understand all related drawings and specifications necessary for all aspects and departments involved in the production process. Ø Work in other areas of production, as directed by management. DESCRIPTION: -Produce Drawings from sketches, existing drawings and/or images -Reverse engineer parts to create drawings -Assist CNC machinist with coordinate dimensions pulled from cad drawings -Inquire with suppliers for material, fabrications, and/or end products; may include e-mailing drawings. [Not every supplier uses CAD, so converting to PDF will be necessary. Also if sending customer prints prints should be modified by removing customer information.] -Collaborate with suppliers with implementing heating design modifications to end customer’s tooling -Act as local IT dept to install printers and troubleshoot email software Future employee should know how to read and interpret drawings, must know AutoCAD (LP also has 3D modeler Autodesk Inventor, drawings can be created using this software as well). Be able to read mics/verniers/tape measure or willing to learn. Know their way around a computer. Be able to convert units. Should be organized.
