
Course Description
It takes a special person to be an Emergency Medical Technician, as an EMT is often the first to care for sick or injured individuals in an emergency setting. As an EMT you will assess a patient's condition to provide first-aid treatment or life support care as well as transport patients to medical facilities. This intense, hands-on program emphasizes emergency skills, such as managing respiratory function, trauma assessment and stabilization, cardiac emergencies, and patient assessment. Ambulance ride time is required in addition to the program hours listed.
Tuition includes BCI background check.
