Advanced Manufacturing Automation Coordinator

Grade Level: High School and Adult Education

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent related work experience in the manufacturing and automation field.
  • Must be able to develop classes and programs and be able to facilitate all facets of manufacturing, including but not limited to, hydraulics, PLCs, robotics, machine maintenance, welding, machining, and industrial technology.
  • Must be able to obtain 12-hour or Career Technical permit.
  • Must be able to pass BCI/FBI checks and drug screen.

Compensation: Per Coordinator salary schedule

Part-time Culinary Instructor

Available to teach afternoons/evenings, M-Th

A minimum of three (3) years of related work experience.

Restaurant Management or culinary degree preferred, but not required.
Must have knowledge of nutrition, restaurant management,
marketing, food service costs & culinary arts.

Part-time EMT Instructor

Salary: $17.85 per hour

Our Adult Career Center is looking for enthusiastic team players to teach adult learners. Share your knowledge and work experience with the next generation of EMTs. As an instructor you will be responsible for instruction and supervision of students enrolled in our five month EMT program. You will help educate and train future EMTs to successfully sit for NREMT and Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED credentials.

Applicants must have a minimum of three years related work experience. Applicant must be an Ohio State Certified EMT Instructor. Applicant must be dependable, provide a professional role model for students and promote a positive and engaging learning environment. Qualified applicants will teach two evenings a week and some Saturdays. This is a part-time position. Applicant must be able to qualify for an adult teaching license from the Ohio Department of Education as well as pass BCI-FBI reports and a drug screen.

Part-time Electrical Instructor

Salary: $21.11 per hour

Our Adult Career Center is looking for an enthusiastic team player to train local employees through our Business and Industry Contract Training Program. Share your knowledge and skill while experiencing the reward of seeing a more productive U.S. workforce!

Applicant must have a minimum of three years related electrical experience. Applicant must have knowledge of high and low voltage, AC / DC, high voltage switch gear, DC crane troubleshooting and PLCs. Applicant must be dependable, provide a professional role model for students and promote a positive and engaging learning environment. Qualified applicants teach on an as needed basis. This is a part-time position. Applicant must be able to qualify for an adult teaching license from the Ohio Department of Education as well as pass BCI-FBI reports and a drug screen.

Part-time Automotive Technician Instructor

Salary: $17.85 to $21.11 per hour

Our Adult Career Center is looking for enthusiastic team players to teach adult learners. Share your knowledge and work experience with the next generation of automotive technicians! As an instructor you will be responsible for instruction and supervision of adult students enrolled in our 900 hour, 10 month Automotive Technician program.

Applicant must have minimum 3-5 yrs. related work experience. Applicant should be Certified ASE G1 Maintenance Light Repair or have the knowledge and ability to obtain the certification within six months. ASE Certifications A1-A8 also preferred, but not required. Computer, communication and organizational skills a must. Applicant must be dependable, provide a professional role model for students and promote a positive and engaging learning environment. Qualified applicants will teach afternoon/evenings M-Th. This is a part-time position. Applicant must be able to qualify for a teaching adult education license from the Ohio Department of Education as well as pass BCI-FBI reports and drug screen.

Share your passion! Help others learn through hands-on instruction! The Adult Career Center offers a wide variety of programs and classes throughout the year.

We are seeking instructors to propose new class ideas and lead special interest classes. Do you have an idea for a class and you are an expert at your craft? We want to hear from you.

Examples of new class ideas include, but are not limited to: Golfing, Herbs, Perennials, Cake Decorating, Event Planning, Yoga, Circuit Training, Home Organization, etc.

Program Advisory Committee Member (Volunteer Position) - Adult Division:

Program Advisory Committees (PAC) are an integral part of maintaining the Adult Career Center MCCTC's goal of offering quality, industry-driven career credential programs. As a means to provide the Adult Career Center with an external review of its programs, PAC members meet at least twice annually to review the established curricula of a program, instructional-related program materials, equipment and facilities, and student achievement outcomes. Individual program committees are comprised of appropriately qualified representatives from business and industry who can provide a meaningful review of career credential programs and supporting resources and materials. If you are a member of the business and industry employment community and would like to serve as a PAC Member for our Adult Career Center, please contact the Supervisor Adult Division at 330-729-4100.
