Part-time, 28 hours/week, 200 days, mainly afternoon shift M-Th
Our Adult Division Secretary routinely performs the following clerical and administrative functions: answering telephones and giving information to students and the general public, taking messages, or transferring calls to appropriate individuals; composing, typing, and distributing meeting notes, routine correspondence, and reports; gathering, tracking and maintaining data needed for State and Federal reporting; organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files; taking registrations and payments; assisting with marketing events.
To be successful in our fast-paced, customer service focused office applicants must have good written and verbal communication skills, team working skills, be organized, detail oriented, flexible, able to work independently in carrying out projects, offer quick turn-around, as well as have a positive, pleasant attitude. Applicants must be proficient with the internet, email, Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher), as well as be able to learn additional software programs used in our office.
High school diploma and recent, successful experience in clerical employment which involved public contact and multi-duty functioning required. Applicants must also pass BCI-FBI checks and drug screen.

Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of related practical work experience in the subject area(s) taught.
Organized and detail-oriented. Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Internet.

We are seeking instructors to propose new class ideas and lead special interest classes. Do you have an idea for a class and you are an expert at your craft?
We want to hear from you.
Examples of new class ideas include, but are not limited to: Golfing, Herbs, Perennials, Cake Decorating, Event Planning, Yoga, Circuit Training, Home Organization, etc.

Program Advisory Committee Member - Volunteer Position
Program Advisory Committees (PAC) are an integral part of maintaining the Adult Career Center MCCTC's goal of offering quality, industry-driven career certification programs. As a means to provide the Adult Career Center with an external review of its programs, PAC members meet at least twice annually to review the established curricula of a program, instructional-related program materials, equipment and facilities, and student achievement outcomes. Individual program committees are comprised of appropriately qualified representatives from business and industry who can provide a meaningful review of career certification programs and supporting resources and materials. If you are a member of the business and industry employment community and would like to serve as a PAC Member for our Adult Career Center, please contact the Supervisor Adult Division at 330-729-4100.
