Graduates can continue on to either a two-year associate degree or a four-year bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, with a focus on either police science/police administration or corrections, offered at Youngstown State University and Kent State University.
Comments:
You may decide, as do many students, to complete a two-year college program in police science and/or a term of military service before joining a law enforcement agency. Because of age and education requirements in most public security areas, a three- or four-year delay is likely before you can legally become a public peace officer.
Your MCCTC Criminal Justice education can also help you specialize in security,
intelligence or police work in the armed forces.
